Hint: We're dealing with a square, so this means that the side lengths are equal. We'll call these side lengths 's'. Recall that the pythagorean theorem is a%5E2%2Bb%5E2=c%5E2 where 'a' and 'b' are the legs and 'c' is the hypotenuse. In this case, the square's side lengths are the legs and the diagonal is the hypotenuse. This means that s%5E2%2Bs%5E2=37%5E2. Simply solve this equation for 's' to find the side length of the square tv

tv is square so all 4 sides equal so in Pythagorean Theorem:
a^2 + b^2 = c^2 --> 2a^2 = c^2, c is the diagonal (or hypotenuse)
2a^2 = (37)^2
a^2 = (37)^2 / 2
a = 37/sqrt(2) = (37sqrt(2))/2
a = approx. 26.16 inches
