You can put this solution on YOUR website! from the poor description in the question (sorry:-) ), I think you are asking a Pythagoras question...a right angled triangle, hypotenuse 26, base 24 and vertical, x, the unknown...
therefore x= +10, -10
Hence the answer here is 10 feet up the pole.
