You can put this solution on YOUR website! The area is the area of the semicircle, minus the area of the triangle.
The triangle is an isosceles right triangle, so you know the length of the other leg. Then it is easy to find the length of the hypotenuse, which is the diameter of the circle; then of course you know the radius of the circle.
The area of the semicircle is one-half pi times radius squared; the area of the right triangle is one-half the product of the legs.
So with just the length of one leg of the triangle given, you can find all the numbers you need to do the calculations to find the area.
