This can't be a right triangle, but we can ignore the 7 and find the two sides that has a hypotenuse of 84
let x = the multiplier
then
3x = one side
5x = the other side
84 = the hypotenuse
pythag
(3x)^2 + (5x)^2 = 84^2
9x^2 + 25x^2 = 7056
34x^2 = 7056
x^2 = 7056/34
x^2 = 207.53
x = sqrt%28207.53%29
x = 14.406 is the multiplier
therefore
3 * 14.406 = 43.218 cm is one side
and
5 * 14.406 = 72.030 cm is the other side
