One formula for the area of a triangle is A = r*s,

where r = radius of the inscribed circle and

s = semiperimeter.

Area of inscribed circle is 12.25p

pr2 = 12.25p

Divide through by p

r2 = 12.25

r = sqrt%2812.25%29

r = 3.5

Semiperimeter = half of perimeter = expr%281%2F2%29%2A48=+24

A = r*s = 3.5*24 = 84 square centimeters.
