You can put this solution on YOUR website! i believe you are saying:
24% efficiency for the first step.
24% efficient for the second step.
64% efficiency for the third step.
efficiency is the ratio of output energy divided by input energy.
efficiency percent is the ratio of output energy divided by input energy times 100.
what this means is that, if you input 100% of your energy, only 24% of that will be fed into the second stage and only 24% of that will be fed into the third stage and only 64% of that will be finally used at the end of the 3 stage process.
24% of 100% is equal to 24% and 24% of 24% is equal to 5.76% and 64% of 5.76% is equal to 3.6864%.
your overall efficiency is equal to 3.6864%.
assuming that you started with 1,000,000 units of energy, only 240,000 units would be fed into the second stage and only 57,600 units would be fed into the third stage and only 38,864 units would be finally available for productive use.
38,864 / 1,000,000 = .038864 output to input efficiency ratio which is equal to 3.8864%.
