You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5^-8-5^10
--------
= 5^10-[1/(5^8)]
---
lcd = 5^8
---
Rewrite each fraction with the lcd as its denominator:
---
= [(5*8*5^10)/5*8] - [1/(5^8)]
---
= [5^18/lcd] - [1/lcd]
---
= [5^18 - 1]/5^8
===================
where does the 1/5 fit into this problem how did you get that ad u changed 5^8lcd to 5^18 over -1 how did you do that i was trying to work that out
