You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x = the first odd integer, then x+2 will be the next consecutive odd integer and x+4 will be the next consecutive odd integer after that.
The sum of these is equal to 117, so you can write the equation:
x%2B%28x%2B2%29%2B%28x%2B4%29+=+117 Combine like-terms.
3x%2B6+=+117 Subtract 6 from both sides.
3x+=+111 Finally, divide both sides by 3.
x+=+37 This is the first odd integer.
x%2B2+=+39 This is the next consecutive odd integer.
x%2B4+=+41 This is the next consecutive odd integer.
Check"
37%2B39%2B41+=+117 OK!
