The intersection of two sets is the set of all elements that are in BOTH sets.
The union of two sets is the set of all elements that are in one set, the other set, or both sets.
The difference of two sets is the set of all elements that are in the first set but not in the second set.
The complement of a set is the set of all elements that are in the universal set but not in the set itself, in other words, the difference between the universal set and the set.
