Question 959378: My question reads: "Use the standard normal curve table to find the closest z score for the given condition: 4% of the total area is to the left of z"
I looked at the z table and got .5160, but what do I do next?

The z-tables give a probability(Pr) for a given z-value, we are given a Pr of 0.04 and asked for the corresponding z-value,
when we consult the negative z-table we find that
for Pr = 0.04, we get a z-value of -1.76 and associated Pr is .0392
