Question 827826: Please help me solve the below question?
From a bag containing: 5 red marbles, 6 blue marbles and 9 white marbles, 1 marble is chosen, the colour noted and the marble is replaced before a second marble is selected. What is the probability that: either marble is red (not both)?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are 2 ways to get one red only, when the red is drawn on the first draw or when the red one is drawn second. In either case a non-red ball is the other one drawn. The first ball drawn is replaced for the second draw.
5/20 * 15/20 * 2 = 3/8
