Ho: row and column factors are independent
H1: they are not independent
----
I ran an ANOVA program on the data and got the following:
test statistic: F = 0.3794
p-value = 0.57
-----
df = 1
SS = 240.6666
MS = 240.6666
---
Since the p-value is greater than 5%, fail to reject Ho at the 5%
level of significance.
The test results support the conclusion that sex and part affiliation
are independent.
Cheers,
Stan H.
