Hi,
re TY the NORMDIST function can be accessed in an excel worksheet:
1. click on a Cell(Space)
2. Click "Insert"(up at the top) (function)
3. chose Statistical /NORMSDIST
4. type in z -value
5. Hit OK
using Excel NORMSDIST function:
P (-2.25 < z <1.25) = NORMSDIST(1.25) - NORMSDIST(-2.25) = .8944 - .0122 = .8822
