Question 578844: Given: P(good)= 0.70 and P(defective)= 0.30
In sample of ten items, find P(AT LEAST two are defective)
Whats the difference between * At least and * Exactly when it comes to these probability problems?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! "At least" means the same as it means in the real world; if you say "My friend has at least $20," you are saying he has $20 or more.
So we want to find the probability that 2, 3, 4, ..., or 10 items are defective. We can evaluate this by hand, but the best way is to use the binomial distribution function (binomcdf) on your calculator. Check your calculator for the correct syntax (I don't remember at the moment -- plus, the syntax can change from calculator to calculator).
