Question 560226: a single fair die is tossed. find the probability of obtaining a number different than 7
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! On a single die, there are 6 possible outcomes ALL of which are different from 7. This is, 6 out of 6, or 6/6=1.00.
I have a page on Probability on my own website. To find my website, use the easy-to-remember and easy-to-spell website www.mathinlivingcolor.com. Then click on the link at the bottom of this page to take you to my Homepage.
Near the middle of the Homepage, look for the link "Intro to Probability".
