You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The first bag has a ratio of 2 blue marbles to 7 red ones.
The second bag has the.same.
If.the.second.bag.has.36.red.marbles.how.many.blue.ones.does.it.have?
----
2:7 is the same as 2x:7x where 2x is the number of blue marbles.
---
Equation:
2x + 7x = 36
9x = 36
x = 4
---
# of blue = 2x = 8
# of red = 7x = 28

im not good at probabilities but this one is basic ratios. if the first and the second bag have the same ratio
and theres 36 red marbles that would make x=36/7=5.1428
so then 2x= 10.2856
his equation cant be right if 36 is number of highlight%28RED%29 marbles not TOTAL marbles
this means that 7x=36x=5.1428 and 2x=10.2856blue marbles
