I ran a Chi-Sq test on the 2 by 3 matrix and got the following;
Chi-Sq = 43.578...
p-value = 0.0000000003445

at the 1% level of significance.
The test result does not support the independence
of the factors; it supports the conclusion that
gender and position are dependent.
