Question 444843: A bag contains eight green marbles, five white marbles, and two red marbles. What is the probability of drawing a red marble from the bag?
I know the denominator on the fraction would be 15 because 8+5+2=15, but im not sure how to get the numerator.
Please explain and show me? Thank you in advance

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A bag contains eight green marbles, five white marbles, and two red marbles. What is the probability of drawing a red marble from the bag?

---------------
The probability of getting a red marble equals
the # of ways you can get a red marble divided
by the total # of marbles in the bag.
P(red) = 2/15
