Hi
a coin is tossed and a single number cube can be rolled

a coin is tossed and a single number cube can be rolled. What is the probability that the coin shows heads and the number cube shows 4 or 5?

The probability of heads is 1 out of 2 or 1/2
The probability of 4 or 5 on the number cube is 2 out of 6 or 2/6

So one half of the times you perform the experiment, the coin will
show heads, and two sixths of those times the number cube will show
4 or 5.

So the answer is one half of two sixths of the time, or

1/2 × 2/6 = 1/6 of the time.

Answer: 1/6
