Question 380162: what formula shall I use to calculate the mean, median, and mode of a set of data that contains 36 scores?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To calculate the mean, find the sum of all the data and then divide by the number of items of data (36 in your case).
To calculate the median, put the numbers in numerical order. Since you have an even number of data points, find the two closest to the middle. That would be the 18th and 19th elements once your 36 elements are in order. Add these two elements and divide by 2.
To find the mode, count the number of times each data element occurs. The data element that occurs most often is the mode. Note, it is possible for a set of data to be multi-modal, that is, it is possible for there to be more than one mode.
