Set: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6
What are the number of three-digit possibilities?
Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! To find the number of possible three-digit numbers that can be made from this set of numbers, you figure out the possible numbers in each place value: _ _ _ being the hundreds, tens, and ones place. For example, the numbers 1 thru 6 can all be in the hundreds place value. The zero can not be in the hundreds place value because then it would not be a three-digit number. That makes a total of 6 different numbers that can be in the hundreds place :] For the tens and ones place, all the numbers in the set work (a total of 7 numbers in each place value). So, we have 6*7*7=294 possible three-digit numbers that can be made from the set of numbers: 0,1,2,3,4,5, and 6.
I hope this helps! :]
