A die with 8 sides is rolled. What is the probability of rolling a number less than 5?

There are 4 numbers less than 5. 

So there are 4 successful sides of the die

And there are 8 sides of the die altogether,

So that's 4 out of 8 or 4%2F8 which reduces to 1%2F2
