A health club with a membership of 650 people operates a running track and an indoor swimming pool. A survey of the membership indicates that 68% use the running track, 44% use the swimming pool, and 8% use neither. If a member is chosen at random,
a. what is the probability that the member uses both the track and the pool?
b. what is the probability that the member uses only the track?
Here's my work on section A, I don't know if it is correct?
P(T∩P) = P(T) * P(P)
= (44/100) * (68/100)
= 2992/10000 = .2992 = 30%

You can put this solution on YOUR website! "8% use neither" ___ so 92% use one or the other or both
"68% use the running track" ___ so 68% - b use only the track
"44% use the swimming pool" ___ so 44% - b use only the pool
(68% - b) + (44% - b) + b = 92%
112% - b = 92% ___ 20% = b
substituting ___ 68% - 20% = 48% use only track
