You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n(A u B)' = n(U) - n(A u B)

n(A u B)' = n(U) - [n(A) + n(B) - n(A ∩ B) ]

n(A u B)' = 60 - [26 + 16 - 9]

n(A u B)' = 60 - 33

n(A u B)' = 27

Answer: B) 27

-------------------------------------
Draw a rectamgle with two intersecting circles inside lablel A and B.
------------------
Put the number "9" in the intersection.
Put 26-9 = 17 in the part of A that does not include the intersection with B.
Put 16-9 = 7 in the part of B that does not include the intersection with A.
--------------------
The A U B has 7 + 9 + 17 = 33 elements.
