Mathtut WAS wrong because he made a math error NOT

 because he misinterpreted any thing
.......This has been corrected.

Now cancel the 10%2A9%2A8%2A7%2A6%2A5%2A4%2A3%2A2%2A1's



and you are left with

Now cancel the 6 into to 12, 
getting 2 on the bottom:

and you have
