Question 144247: Can someone please help me with this problem?
The standard deviation for the data set {28,84,67,71,92,37,45,32,74,96}. Assume this is the entire data set, not a sampling of a larger population.
a. 62.5
b. 23.99

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find the mean (average) of the data set

find the individual difference of each member of the set with the mean (member minus mean)

square the differences and add the squares

divide the sum of the squares by the number of members in the set (10)

take the square root (positive) of this "average of squares" __ this is the standard deviation
