Question 1195541: Charltons crcket team had the following results over their last 20 matches.
W W L D D W W L W L D L L D W D W W L L
Complete the Frequency table
Outcome Frequency
W
D
L
b) Charltons reasons that since there are 3 possible results for any match, the probability that the next match will be drawn (D) is 1\3. Explain why Charlton is wrong?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
Do you really think that tutors should fill this frequency table for you,
making this stupid job instead of you, which every student must do
quickly, correctly and silently on his (or her) own
without asking for the help from outside and without disturbing other people ?
If so, then write directly and explicitly in your post
Dear tutors, since I do not want make my job on my own,
including even simplest steps,
I request you to do it in full instead of me (for free) . . .
It is EXACTLY and PRECISELY what you really want at this forum.

To fill out the frequency table, count the number of times W shows up. That value goes next to W in the frequency table. Similar ideas apply for D and L. All of the values in the frequency column must add to 20.
After determining the frequency for D, divide that over 20 and reduce the fraction as much as possible. You should get a reduced result that isn't 1/3.
Example: W D L D There are 2 instances of D out of 4 matches.
The probability of a draw in this case is 2/4 = 1/2.
The answer to your current problem will likely be a different fraction. However, you'll follow these similar steps.
