Question 1194780: What is the distribution of the weights of a sample of 1,300 cargo containers is symmetric and bell-shaped?
According to the Empirical Rule, what percent of the weights will lie between X¯¯¯−2s and X¯¯¯+2s? (Round your answer to 2
I know you have to use the 68%, 95%, 99.7 Empirical Rule. I don't know how to start the problem off if I don't know the standard deviation or mean.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The empirical rule holds regardless of the mean or standard deviation. 95% of the data lie between -2 and +2 s.d. of the mean.
