| Question 1155511: Lucia is exploring theoretical and experimental probability.
She does an experiment where she draws one colored block from a bag, notes the color and then returns the block to the bag.
The results of her experiment are:
30 white, 58 blue, 76 red and 10 orange blocks.
Lucia then opens up the bag and discovers that it contains:
5 white, 9 blue, 16 red and 2 orange blocks.
 1. Find the experimental probability of getting a white.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! experimental has 174 drawings white is 30/174 or 15/87 ANSWER
 blue is 58/174 or 1/3
red is 76/174 or 38/87 ANSWER
 orange is 10/174 or 5/87
That is what she actually drew
theoretical probability of white is 5/32, that is what is in the bag
and for red is 16/32 or 1/2
