do a 95% CI which is mean +/- t df=6, 0.975 s/ sqrt(n)
This yields 0.741+/- 2.447*0.389/sqrt(7)=0.741+/-0.360
95% CI is (0.381, 1.101)
Since the critical value of 1 ppm is IN the interval, it is entirely possible that the true value is that or even more, so yes, there is evidence to support the claim that there is too much mercury in the sushi.
