Question 1115003: Suppose you take a sample of 250 students. Give the shape, center and standard-deviation of the sampling distribution of samples means. Find the probability that a sample mean is below 52.5 inches. Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Need to know more about the distribution of the students in the population that is expected as well as the standard deviation of that population or at least of the sample. That is probably listed somewhere in that problem. The sampling distribution of the mean is normal if the population is considered normal, it has the same mean, and the standard deviation is the population sd divided by the sqrt (sample size).
