2.) A bus traveled on a level road for 3 hours at an average speed 20 miles per hour faster than it traveled on a winding road. The time spent on the winding road was 4 hours. Find the average speed on the level road if the entire trip was 305 miles.

V+=+lwh
2310+=+22%2Aw%2A7
2310+=+154%2Aw
15+=+w the width is 15 inches

Distance = Rate*Time
Winding road:
time = 4 hours
rate = r
distance = 4r
Level road:
time = 3 hours
rate = r + 20
distance = 3r + 60
4r + 3r + 60 = 305
7r = 245
r = 35
Level road speed = r + 20 = r + 35 = 55mph
