Question 1063755: 6c In an experiment to determine the relationship between force and momentum, a force X, is applied to a mass, by placing the mass on an inclined plane, and the time, Y, for the velocity to change from u m/s to v m/s is measured. The results obtained are as follows:
Force (N) Time (s)
11.4 0.56
18.7 0.35
11.7 0.55
12.3 0.52
14.7 0.43
18.8 0.34
19.6 0.31
Determine the equation of the regression line of time on force, assuming a linear relationship between the quantities.

Sorry,
the person who created this text does not know Physics and even does not understand it at all.
In addition, the person uses wrong mathematical terminology.
The relationship between "the quantities", the Force and the Time IS NOT LINEAR in this case.
Everybody who studied Physics knows it. The data in the Table shows the same.
Besides of this, the description of the experiment is "below of the floor" level.
Which force was used in the experiment, how it was directed? How it was varied ? was the friction excluded ?
