You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
there are 8 people at a picnic and their ages are as follows: 15,5,5,2,20,7,30,40,23.
if three people are picked at random, what is the probability that their combined aged will exceed 27 years?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The way to solve it is THIS:
1.  Write all combinations of 8 numbers taken 3 at a time.
    The number of these combinations is %288%2A7%2A6%29%2F%281%2A2%2A3%29 = 8*7 = 42.
2.  Write all these combinations in lines: one combination in each line.
3.  Add the numbers in each line and write the sum in the same line.
4.  Then calculate how many of sums exceed 27. Let this number/amount will be n.
5.  Then your answer is n%2F42.
Good luck !
