So far I understand that I need to make the denominators the same so I have:

I have have 7 times -2 = -14
7 + -2 = 5
which would give me (X squared - 2x) + (7x -14) factored =
X (x -1) + (x + 7)
and now I am totally lost, I hope you can understand what I was thinking, thank you so much for your help!
