Question 924363: I have a problem that says that expanding:
a * a^​3 + 3a^​2​​b + 3ab^​2​ + b^​3 = a​^4 + 3a​^3​​b + 3a​^2​​b​^2​ + ab^​3 ​+ 0b^​4​​. It seems like you just multiply, but then somehow you get the 0b^4 at the end. Can anyone explain where the 0b^4 is coming from? Thanks!

Not sure why that term is added.
Perhaps to balance out the terms? Descending orders of a and increasing orders of b.
Since there is a zero as a coefficient, the equation is technically correct.
