Question 90173: USe synthetic division to find the polynomial which is not a factor of:
x^3+2x^2-9x-18

You can put this solution on YOUR website! USe synthetic division to find the polynomial which is not a factor of:
f(x) = x^3+2x^2-9x-18
(x+2)(x-2)(x-3)(x+3)
---------------
Checking (x-2):
2)....1,,,,2,,,,-9....-18
........2....6.....3.....|..-12
================
Remainder is -12 so (x-2) is not a factor of f(x)
