You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You most certainly really mean this:
(-6t)/(7t-14) =?/(35t-70)

This is just like any third-grader or fourth-grader fraction problem - but just with variables included.

What is the change from 7t-14 to 35t-70?
Try factoring to see if this helps.
7(t-2) versus 35(t-2) ----obviously 5 times greater, factor of 5 was used.

Now, wanted both of the fractions be equal, one is related to the other by a factor of 1, or 5%2F5 which is equal to 1.

Bring the left member to higher terms using factor 5%2F5.
