Question 806238: x^2+6x+8/2x^2-4x-16 divided by 2x^2+12x+16/x+2.
(x+2)(x+4)/(2x+4)(x-4) divided by (2x+4)(x+4)/x+2
I canceled out here and my answer came to be x-4. However it is wrong. When I retried...I didn't cancel out until I did my recipical and changed the problem into a multiplication prob.
(x+2)^2/(2x+4)^2(x-4) is my 2nd answer. Am I correct with this? If not can I get help with what I am doing wrong please?
Thank you for your time.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2+6x+8/2x^2-4x-16 divided by 2x^2+12x+16/x+2

This can be factored and simplified as:
