You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In%283x%5E2-x%29+=+In%28x%29+%2B+In%282%29
adding logs mean multiply
In%283x%5E2-x%29+=+In%282x%29
If the logs are equal the expressions are equal, therefore:
(3x^2 - x) = (2x)
3x^2 - x = 2x
3x^2 - x - 2x = 0
3x^2 - 3x = 0
Factor our 3x
3x(x-1) = 0
Two solutions
x = 0
x = 1, the only meaningful solution

You can check this in your calc, enter
in(3(1^2)-1) = .693
and
ln(1) + ln(2) = .693:

Hey! don't badmouth yourself, an idiot wouldn't ask for help. Take a little
time and just think each step through. Good luck. C
