From the statement of the question, we should write:
{(9x^2-2)+(6x-1)}-(4x^2-5x) = 9x^2-2+6x-1-4x^2+5x = 5x^2+11x-3
The key to this was distributing the (-) sign through the binomial (4x^2-5x).
