Question 78158: Factor the following binomial.
25x^2 – 81y^2
Factors:
1,3,5,9,15,25,27,45,75,81,135,225,405,675,2025,
-1,-3,-5,-9,-15,-25,-27,-45,-75,-81,-135,-225,-405,-675,-2025,
-2025
(-1)*(2025)=-2025
(-3)*(675)=-2025
(-5)*(405)=-2025
(-9)*(225)=-2025
(-15)*(135)=-2025
(-25)*(81)=-2025
(-27)*(75)=-2025
(-45)*(45)=-2025
a=25,m=45, and n=-45
Did the other stuff and do I end up with this or am I wrong?
(5x+9y) * (5x-9y)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You did this perfectly. Notice how each number is a perfect square, so you can use the difference of squares to find the factors much more quickly.
