1-9-2=9%2Fx-9 Since anything divided by itself is one, x%2Fx=1
-10=9%2Fx-9 Combine like terms
-1=9%2Fx Add 9 to both sides
-x=9 Multiply both sides by x
x=-9 Divide both sides by -1. This is your answer
