Question 760113: I have no idea how to go about this problem...or where to start. Help me please :(
Sarah can build a fence in 9 hours. Joe can do the same in 6 hours. How long would it take them working together, to build the fence? (answer in hours)
t=time together
1=the completed job
t/9=fraction of fence built by Sarah in t hours
t/6=fraction of fence built by Joe in t hours.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you are sooooooo close to being done, all you need is
t/9 + t/6 = 1
6t + 9t = 54
15t = 54
t = 3.6 hours
