Question 722914: My class is Factoring by Grouping. This probably has got me stuck. I've asked a friend who's in a higher level of math and he can't help me.
The problem is: -6mp+4m+18p-12
There aren't any like terms that I can combine.
I got two different ways this could go.
1. 2m(-3p+2)+6(3p-2)
2. 2(-3mp+2m+9p-6)
I don't know where to go from either way. Please help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Factor:
-6mp+4m+18p-12
-m(6p-4)+3(6p-4)
(6p-4)(-m+3)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-6mp + 4m + 18p - 12
try grouping
(-6mp + 4m) + (18p - 12)
Factor out -2m and 6
-2m(3p - 2) + 6(3p - 2)
Factor out (3p-2)
(3p-2)(-2m+6)
