First, see if this is easily factorable.
Find two numbers such that they multiply to 6*-35 = -210, but add up to -1. After thinking about this you get -15 and 14.
So rewrite -x as -15x + 14x.
6x^2 -15x +14x-35
Group each pair and factor pairwise.
(6x^2-15x) + (14x-35)
