if you factor it completely

y=%28x-1%29%28x%2B1%29%28x-2%29 roots are:
if y=0
%28x-1%29=0 ....->...x=1
%28x%2B1%29=0 ....->...x=-1
%28x-2%29=0 ....->...x=2

x-intercepts: points (1,o), (-1,o), (2,o)
if x=0, then y=%280%5E2-1%29%280-2%29=-1%2A-2=2
y-intercepts: (0,2)
