You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28x%2By%29%282x-1%29%28x%2B1%29. First of all, you must multiply first two polynomials, %28x%2By%29%282x-1%29. Use the distributive property: x%282x-1%29+%2By%282x-1%29 the reason is because you could use distributive property even if these two are polynomials. So,it would be, x+%2A+2x+-+x+%2A+1+%2B+y+%2A+2x+-+y+%2A+1 and just simplify the like terms. But we are not done yet. after we combine it, which is 2x%5E2+-+x+%2B+2xy+-+y, we also have to multiply %28x%2B1%29 as well, remember? We should rather use polynomials ( the x%2B1%29 ) than quadnomials ( the 2x%5E2+-+x+%2B+2xy+-+y ) to use as distributive property, so this is what it should be: +x%282x%5E2+-+x+%2B+2xy+-+y%29+%2B+1%282x%5E2+-+x+%2B+2xy+-+y%29+ which simplify all the way down to: +2x%5E3+-+x%5E2+%2B+2x%5E2y+-+xy+%2B+2x%5E2+-+x+%2B+2xy+-+y then to: +2x%5E3+%2B+x%5E2+%2B+2x%5E2y+%2B+xy+-+x+-+y.
Confused? When multiplying polynomials, think of something that splits in two and goes along with others on each side. Pretend like . So it would be 1%281%2B1%29%2B1%281%2B1%29. i hope you aren't still confused...
