Hi Danielle,
; find n.
Multiply both sides by the Denominator on the right.
Distirbute the C.
Get all the things with n's on one side of the = sign.
Factor out the n.
Divide both sides by (E-Cr)
You're done!!!
It's more traditional to have the variable on the left.
Happy Calculating, Danielle!!!

C=nE/(R+nr)
Start by getting rid of the denominator and multiplying both sides of the equation by (R+nr) ie C(R+nr)= (nE(R+nr))/(R+nr)
cancell out the (R+nr) in both the numerator and denominator on the right side of the equation.
This leaves C(R+nr)=nE
now expand the expression on the left side in order to isolate terms involving n on the left side.
CR+Cnr=nE
Subtract Cnr from both sides of the equation in order to get all terms involving n on one side of the equation.
CR+Cnr-Cnr=nE-Cnr
CR=nE-Cnr
now factor out n from the right side of the equation
CR=n(E-Cr)
divide both sides of the equation by (E-Cr) in order to isolate n on one side of the equation.
CR/(E-Cr)=n(E-Cr)/(E-Cr)
cancell out (E-Cr) in the denominator and numerator on the right side.
this leaves CR/(E-Cr)=n or n=CR/(E-Cr)
