The best first step is to multiply top and bottom by the lowest common denominator present in all the pieces of the complex fraction...here that would be 4w...so from
(w + 3/4w) / (w - 3/2w)
we multiply by 4w / 4w and get
(4w^2 + 3) / (4w^2 - 6)
That's as far as this one goes
